"The Cal-French food here is fantastic – all organic, well prepared and imaginative – and the service is top-notch. We ordered the braised short ribs, duck and roasted chicken – all were excellent. Specialty drinks are spendy and forgettable, so I’d advise sticking to classic cocktails. The setting, a converted carriage house, is also charming, and an expansive outdoor patio is perfect for warm nights. Celebrities supposedly frequent the place, but the only one I saw was the actress who played Meghan on “Melrose Place” (which was very exciting for me, though I’m likely one of the few people in the world who would recognize her since I seem to excel at spotting D-list celebs)."
