It’s sometimes hard for a guy to feel comfortable in a spa filled with women using words like “pedicure” and “cellulite.” Service Station is intended for the manly man, complete with a cold beer upon arrival, pretty girls administering grooming services and big-screen TVs tuned into the all-important game. Designed to look like an old-fashioned service station, the spa even uses compressed-air hoses to rid shoulders of stray hairs. You can stroll in for a traditional shave, a massage, a facial, hair services, waxing, or hand and foot care (note that the words manicure and pedicure are never used here). And as an added twist, women are welcome in Service Station, but not very many show up (guess they’re giving guys their due time in the beauty chair).
