This small museum celebrates San Diegos Chinese community history through displays and interesting shows featuring artifacts from the thriving Chinese community that once existed in this area. You will also find exhibits focusing on different aspects of Chinese culture such as calligraphy, seal carvings and other arts. Early prejudice drove away many Chinese from the San Diego area, leaving only a few buildings with distinctive Chinese features, one of which now houses the museum. Admission is free.
