If the crack of billiard balls is music to your ears, you have come to the right place. Amidst the chatty crowd that runs the gamut from power brokers to the nearly broke, this institution in downtown is not to be missed. Located in a restored building in the Gaslamp Quarter (notice the red brick walls and the open ceiling rafters), this gathering spot has great atmosphere, regular tournaments and an upbeat clientele. You can take a break in the action by slipping upstairs and grabbing a table.
