Important Hotel Information:
This boutique hotel in downtown San Francisco takes its cue from Thomas Jefferson’s Virginia estate. The royal blue-and-white color scheme, combined with old-fashioned details like wainscoting and humpbacked sofas, recreate the gracious living of the Old South. The guest rooms are décorated in traditional Colonial style, but they aren’t at all stuffy. Most rooms continue the blue and white color scheme. Floral patterns, carved mahogany headboards, and sprays of flowers add grace and charm. Bookworms, you’ll want to stay in one of 20 two-room Jefferson Suites. In partnership with Borders Books & Music, the Monticello Inn has included a book honor bar in each of these large suites. Leaf through an assortment of bestsellers, and purchase any that you’ll want to take with you. Located near Union Square and the Moscone Center, the Monticello Inn is ideal for business travelers and even touring families. Trendy SoMa bars and restaurants are just minutes away.
