"Not only does this place have concert halls, live performances, special benefits, ect, it is also known for hosting the SF Octoberfest. Many people come from Germany and beyond for this special day in October. It’s always held the first weekend in October. When you first get into Fort Mason, it looks like a small place. Yet once you start walking through, and you see all the vendors, the cool dancing floor, and the wonderful professional singers, you know it is much bigger than it first seemed.tha staff knowshow to make some really good German hotdogs, and the beer the staff brews for this event, is out of site. Everyone is pretty friendly, and they decorate this venue to match whatever event is being held. In this case, the Fort, and the staff within were all looking very germanish for this weekend, and we have a really really fun time."
