"once you go around this block in Alamo square, you cannot miss these ladies… There’s at least 5-6 of these painted ladies. I forget the story behind it, maybe something to do with the Jones’s and how no one can keep up with them. Whatever the story, they are all identical in structure, but very different in colors. They range from the full spectrum of pastel colors, and are such a treat to view. You can spend at least fiteen minutes gazing at them, wondering about their inhabitants, ect. They are part of the SF Iconery, and what great icons they do make. Whether you are a tourist or a neighbor to SF, you can appreciate the beauty of these ladies."
