"Okay here’s the breakdown, Jacks on 16th, jacks Elixir, and now just Elixir, it’s all the same place. Three name changes later it still has the same old good brew. There are many pilsners, and wheat ales to keep one a very happy person. I especially like the wheat ale in the winter time here. They make it very tasty. I also like their margaritas, because they are strong, and I can always tell if it was made here or some place else. You want a small bar, with excellent drinks, come to Elixir. This place has a name that nevers falls out of fashion. You call it a Saloon, I call it home."

"This spot has loads of drafts, including a good variety of imports and microwbrews, along with a great happy hour. The location (at the corner of 16th and Guerrero) is always hellish if you drive, so take a cab or walk there."
