"Sometimes my friends and I come here to play fooseball or to shoot some pool.At other times, we just like to hang out in the bar area, drink some European brewsand have a good time. There's a really cool back patio area if you want to get some fresh air. I didn't like some of the music on the jukeox as much. Overall it was good. The bartender serves up some really great drinks. The crowds mixed in styles, but everyone seems to get along. Overall it's a great local bar, and the decor of the place is just as it should be, down home and dimly lit for the night crowd."

"Lucky 13 is a gritty old place in the middle of the Castro on Market Street. Dark and dingy, with a laid-back, funky vibe. It reminds me of a place where leather-clad people throw chairs and hurt themselves for fun. It has kind of a retro feel, I guess, with a nice mix of glowing “black light” paintings on various walls. The place is known for its awesome jukebox — a near-perfect mix of old ballads, ‘80s glam rock, and some ‘90s alt rock, garage rock, you name it. There’s nothing like good music with friends, and knocking back a tequila shot followed by a can of PBR. Yep, they have PBR on tap, brother. But if you want to be all fancy about your beer, they have a huge selection to choose from. Overall a cool vibe; smells kind of like a dirty sock, though."
