People who folow Celtic music love the Plough. Some of the biggest names perform live here in nightly shows. You might also see traditional Irish dance performances while you enjoy your pint. You will be quite welcome among the friendly, multi-generational crowd. How can anyone be less than convivial with great music, great libations and a great crowd? No credit cards are accepted.

"This sweet little Irish pub is tucked among the Chinese grocers and dim sum storefronts of Clement Street. The bar is filled with friendly regulars, the staff knows how to pour a Guinness, and live bands, mostly of the folksy variety, play on select nights. Great place to chill with a pint and enjoy good conversation."

"If you want to get away from the San Francisco scene and take in some incredible Irish folk music or play a little pool, the Plough and Stars is the place to go. It’s laid back, has the best Guiness in town by far and is a great place to chill out."
