"I would’ve missed this tiny storefront trattoria, but luckily for me, an Italian friend brought me here one night when I was craving gnocchi and didn’t feel like driving all the way up to North Beach. Ever since, it’s been one of my favorite restaurants in the city. White tablecloths and fresh flowers make it nice enough for date night, but it’s chill enough that wearing ratty jeans and flip flops is totally acceptable. And the food? Divine. I’ve mostly stuck to the pasta plates, but everyone I’ve been with raves about the fish and meat dishes as well. One caveat: The space itself is long and narrow, so I wouldn’t recommend coming here with a big group."
