"This little restaurant, located in a dumpy corner of the Haight, is way more mod looking inside than most of your cheap-y Indian joints. The food is excellent; tikka masala doesn’t go too heavy on the cream, curries have just the right amount of spice. Prices are more than reasonable: I came here with a friend and we ate like kings for about $20. Plus, it’s BYOB, and a nice pale ale pairs perfectly with the spicy fare."
