"Zachary’s is a Santa Cruz institution. They have great breakfasts. The menu isn’t that big, but they have the usual breakfast foods, with a large selection of egg dishes. “Mike’s Mess” is the most famous and popular dish- it’s eggs, bacon, potatoes, and veggies all scrambled together. The portions are big, so you can definitely share with somebody, and if you do, it’s quite cheap. The coffee comes with free refills, too. It’s always crowded on weekend mornings, so be sure you have some time."
