An Obvious Don't Miss

So I’ve learned if you are in the vicinity of something amazing, you go even if it entails riding a tiny, rickety “death trap” bus, getting ill from the dairy dessert the night before after only 20 minutes in the bus, being the reason the 10 person tour group has to stop off in a strange little “town” in the middle of nowhere to acquire stranger pills to ease the “Delhi Belly”, and then starting up at the Taj from an almost sitting position on its marble floor because that’s all the heat and pills and nausea will allow. Although I begged the tour guide on a number of occasions to send me back to the hotel in a taxi (“not safe” apparently) and tried to stay curled up on my chair in the bus once we arrived in Agra, he literally dragged me to see once of the world’s most amazing man-made sites. So, even ill seated atop the 100+ degree marble while hundreds of tourists threatened to step on my fingers, it was something I am thankful I did not miss. Plus, all of my photos have an interesting and artistic ground up angle.
