"vail is the biggest ski mountain in the united states…it’s huge, and there is a ton of terrain for skiers of all abilities. most head to the back side to ski or ride the famous back bowls and blue sky basin. vail has a great apres scene too…lots of bars with good happy hour specials, etc. it’s one of the more upscale ski resorts in colorado, so be prepared to shell out the dough. it’s worth it, though."
