Not aging well
The Wingate was new and one of the nicest motels in Columbia – but that was a few years ago. Over the years I have stayed several times at this motel.
The pool/hot tub is broken the majority of the time. The cleanliness of the hotel leaves much to be desired. Leaky faucets, doors that jam, shower rods that are loose – many little things that could be easily fixed if the owners were investing in maintenance.
This facility does not live up the Wingate standard – many better and newer motels in town.
