Washington

D.C.
"My family and I recently went to Washington D.C. for a little getaway. It's not too far from us so it made it a perfect place to go. There was lots to see and do. We went to Arlington Cemetery. I would recommend to anyone who is going to make sure you spring for the tour trolley rides, you get to see all the sites and it's not a lot of walking. We didn't take the tour trolley ride and it took us 2 hours to get around the cemetery and we still didn't get to see it all. The National Monument and reflective pool were also very interesting to see. Another recommendation I would suggest is that you check to make sure there are no protests going on that day (unless you don't mind that sort of thing). There was a protest the day we went and it was very hectic and chaotic. It was interesting to see the police department out in full riot gear though. All in all, Washington D.C. is a great place to take the family, just make sure you account for weather and a lot of walking!

Capital
"A political and economical center, Washington D.C. is an amazing seeing site. I like the capitol building very much, because of its high place, aesthetic feeling from the symmetry, grandness, clear square. And Lincoln memorial, Washington Monument,.. are just in a line.

DC's Easy
"The USA's most user-friendly large city, has to be Washington DC! The wonderful metro system makes it very easy to get around. Although the food and lodging can be a little spendy, all the attractions are free! Every American should visit our Capitol at least once!
