The DC GuestHouse is located in the historic Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The bed and breakfast is one block from the Washington Convention Center and two blocks to the Metro subway station. The National Museum of American Art is less than one mile from the bed and breakfast. The White House, Washington Monument, Ford’s Theater and the National World War II Memorial are less than two miles away.
The historic 1876 mansion offers updated, eclectic furnishings. Complimentary full breakfasts are served in the bed and breakfast’s gourmet kitchen, formal dining room or courtyard. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available. Lounge areas feature fine art from the bed and breakfast’s own collection. The architectural additions to the house resulted from a period when the house functioned as an art gallery.
