TenPenh

Washington, DC 20004
(202) 393-4500
In the heart of D.C.’s power corridor on Pennsylvania Avenue, TenPenh — which was influenced by Asian design customs and feng shui guidelines — offers a calm oasis featuring Asian dining and impeccable service. Greeted at the door by a hostess clad in Asian silk, you enter the restaurant a hurried city dweller and become transformed to a serene soul as you follow a slightly inclined stone path to the elegant Asian-inspired main dining room. Created and operated by the same restaurant group whose successes include DC Coast and Ceiba, TenPenh consistently serves some of the city’s best Asian food. Don’t miss the hoisin and orange barbeque glazed pork short ribs with sweet and spicy cucumber relish or the Asian marinated grilled chicken breast spicy green papaya salad, candied peanuts and roti. Not surprisingly, lawyers, lobbyists and business people crowd TenPenh for formal lunches, but dinner brings a more relaxed crowd.
