"I have been going to Toka for 3 years, and before that I searched around the DC area for almost a year looking for reliable colorists. Like many of us, I have been burned, miscolored and traumatized…at Toka you can just sit back or you can easily talk about what you want and what you don’t want, and they will listen! About every 6 months I might want to change a shade here and there and I have always been pleased with the results. My hair is always complimented, as it looks VERY naturnal with mulitple tones of blonde and brown while looking healthy and shiny. A good cut is guaranteed at many fine places in DC, but not great color as this is more difficult. At Toka you can get both. I usually see Necip (pronounced nejip) at the Toka Salon on Pennsylvania now, but started at the Georgetown shop. Both are great, but the spa services are only at the Georgetown location."
