My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon (August 7-14). This was by far, the best hotel experience that we have had. The location was amazing. The best part was that we were able to stay on a quaint street without sacrificing proximity to all of the sights. The hotel had a beautiful view of a traditional Italian street. The rooms were beautifully appointed. The rooftop bar and restaraunt was a great place to catch the sunset, and the buffet breakfast. Make sure you try the sugar covered, chocoloate truffle filled donuts…you’ll gain 10 lbs. :) We will definitely stay at the Marcella Royal next time we are in Rome; which we hope will be soon.

We had a disappointing short hotel stay in Rome this year. We were en route to a wedding in Tuscany which was fabulous. It was not helped by the fact that it rained most of the w/e! I shall note your recommendation
