The tropical foliage and original 1939 terrazzo floor create a lively atmosphere. Oldham’s designs for the interior are colorful, vibrant and warm – and apparent as soon as you see your guest room. You’ll find tie-dyed robes, beribboned pillows, and hand-airbrushed tiles in the bathroom. Let your tastebuds get lively at Wish, the hotel’s restaurant serving traditional American cuisine with a hint of Asian flair. The intimate, cozy setting is perfect for a supper a deux. For seafood lovers, there’s caramel glazed wild salmon (served with grilled baby bok choy, duck confit and soba summer roll). Vegetarians can create their own custom entrees, while meat lovers can feast on a 16-ounce  bone-in New York strip steak, accompanied by Italian sausage, creamer potatoes and onions. If you finish your dinner before the sun sets, soak up the last of the day’s light on the rooftop deck. Don’t miss the gorgeous views of the ocean and the incredible colors of dusk. You could also take a dip in the pool while you’re there, and work up an appetite for a midnight snack.
