"This Japanese restaurant overlooks the bay so it is very nice. The food is good. The bar is quaint and usually has some young entrepreneurs in after work. It is a very kid-friendly restaurant and good for large parties."

"I lived in Sarasota back when I was a college student, and then a beginning writer/editor. This means I was totally broke. But somehow I was always able to scrape up enough money to gorge myself on sushi, and often it was at Da Ru Ma. Tucked in the Sarasota Quay, this sushi restaurant has gorgeous views of the Bay and Lido Key across the water. Though specialty rolls are tasty, I recommend going for the sashimi. Why muck up the delicious fish with rice, seaweed and veggies? Just add a touch of soy sauce and enjoy. The specialty cocktails, though a bit spendy, are a nice splurge for dinner."
