Paris is a massive, sprawling city divided into 20 districts, or arrondissements. The most-visited city in the world, Paris is an international center of food, art, fashion, architecture and culture. The are so many sights to enjoy in this city, in can be difficult to plan a manageable trip, but among those you must enjoy during your visit are the Eiffel Tower (perhaps the most iconic of all Parisian landmarks), Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur, the Louvre, the Musee d’Orsay, Sainte Chapelle, Luxembourg Garden, Jardin des Tuileries, and, just outside the city, the Chateau de Versailles. The city has a long and fascinating history and is home to an amazing collection of museums and landmarks, as well as stunning architecture. If there were ever a city in which to eat like the locals do, it’s Paris. Skip the restaurants you can find in every other country in Europe and enjoy local bistros and cafes, or treat yourself to some fine dining. If the weather’s cooperating, grab some fresh-baked bread and great wine and cheese and enjoy a picnic in one of the city’s beautiful parks or gardens. Shoppers will be in paradise here. From the high-end shops found around Place Vendome to smaller neighborhood shops to Paris’ largest flea market, Clignancourt, there is shopping to be done at every price level.
