Where Do I begin?
"Paris is a great place. There are so many things to do, you'll have an activity for everyday of your stay. Guaranteed.
Eiffel Tower: The Eiffel Tower is okay. The BIG downside is that there are literally thousands of people under it waiting to go up. We were crafty and cut in front of some people who weren't looking and had to wait only 5 minutes. There's a Jules Verne restuarant on the second floor, and it's not that expensive, that of an Red Robin's prices. The top is great, but getting there from the third floor isn't. HUGE LINE. And no cutting here. Too narrow. You can walk up the stairs, and that's a better way than the elevator, there's not a lot of traffic on the stairs. A lot of people, but not a lot of traffic. You can see just about the whole city from the top. Very beautiful. Just don't fall. Unless you wanna kill yourself. Instant Death. THUNK!
Arc de Triumph (or however you spell that!): This line is GREAT. It's like a ticket line for a Billy Ray Cyrus concert, almost EMPTY! But when it comes into view, you cant just walk across the street to it, it a very busy street. You have to cross underneath. There's a walkway with virtually no line ever. When you get there, it's so nice. There are names and carvings of Napoleon, I think there were naked people, I'm not sure. Look under the arc, beauty! When you go inside, the first thing you see is a ticket office (Of course!). Then you walk up a bajillion stairs, and there's a meusuem at the top floor. They've got a bunch of replicas and pictures and stuff. Then, you go on the top. Again, you can see the whole city again.
Notre Dame: I thought this was very disapointing, hehe. There's no line to get in, which is good. But the place is SO DARK!!! Bring a flashlight! There is usually a choir singing at times. But you can't see their faces. You can buy a candle for like, 15 euro, or 1 euro, I forget. There are lots of carvings to see. And then you can go to the top. We didn't, the line was to long and the place was too dark lol. The line for the bathrooms was humongous! But the area around the church was very nice. There was boat rides and stores and food places. Yeah.
If you go, try to book a hotel in the Montparnasse area. It is one of the nicest areas, peaceful, convienient, and lots of magazine stands with naked women all over them. I reccomend Hotel Modigliani.
There is so much to do, and you will enjoy your stay! The picture is me on top of the Arc de Triumph. Sideways though.
