Fitted with an unusual lighting and sound system—tailor-made for its peculiar black-walled, underground setting—this museum exhibits relatively little-known works by the surrealist artist Salvador Dali. Most of the exhibits are sculptures that mirror the artists obsession with soft watches or melting snails: these two works are from the 1970s, when Dalis career was reaching its end. The museum captures perfectly this brilliant painters love of the fantastic and bizarre. This museum is simply a must for Dali lovers. Admission: EUR7.

Utterly Cool!

Loricat's rating:

"While not on the Paris Museum Pass, this is still a museum that must be seen, if you are the least bit interested in Art. Salvador Dali’s sculptures, paintings, drawings and other mementos can all be found here. If you’ve got the cash, you can even buy replicas of your favourite pieces…or do what I did, buy a beautiful book of his art."
