For more than two decades, this Vietnamese restaurant located just off of the Champs Elysees has been packing them in for some of the neighborhood’s best pan-Asian cuisine under the watchful eye of Mr. Diep himself. The two-tiered dining room, colored in deep red and decorated with antiques from the Far East, has an almost boudoir feel to it. Despite the dining room being consistently filled to capacity, this boite manages to feel intimate, thanks to the subdued lighting, and discreet, self-effacing service. The broad menu is wide ranging, featuring specialties from Saigon (excellent pho, nems and Vietnamese raviolis) along with Chinese delicacies such as shrimp and chickens croissants (dumplings), and Thai-inspired juicy skewers of grilled sole with satay sauce.
