"Opened in 1951, many famous & soon-to-be famous authors have given readings here, and have slept upstairs, taking a break from the real world. On rue de Bucherie (butchers), right by the bridge closest to Notre Dame on the Rive Gauche, it is incredibly easy to find, and worth a good browse. Buy a paperback there for yourself or the book lover in your life, stamped with the Shakespeare & Co logo on the flyleaf."
