Summary of CNN Center
The CNN Studio Tour lets you take a look behind the scenes at the world headquarters of the network that made Anderson Cooper a household name. You’ll hop on an eight-story escalator to get things going (if you’re afraid of heights, you might want to close your eyes); during the course of the tour, you’ll work your way back to ground level via back hallways and stairwells. Along the way, you’ll learn a little about the history of the world’s first news network; visit a special-effects studio where you can check out the gadgetry that goes into TV news; and watch the commotion in CNN’s main newsroom, where writers, producers and technicians are scurrying about. If there’s a live broadcast happening during your tour of CNN Studio, you’ll get to watch the networks’ anchors in action (sorry, Anderson fans, but Mr. Cooper works in the New York studio).
