The citys oldest tavern is a great place to sip a cold one, watch the game, or take in a delicious weekend brunch. A favorite with the Emory and young professional crowds, the place really moves most nights, but never loses its laid-back tavern atmosphere. The menu includes Georgia Mountain Trout (USD14.95), Rustys Creole Jambalaya (USD12.95), as well as a host of other pasta, seafood, steak and vegetarian choices. The bar also has a light late-night menu with appetizers and sandwiches.

Concierge's rating:

"Okay that was harsh I actually like Atkins, especially for lunch or brunch. Its located in Virginia Highlands, one of the best neighborhoods in the city. This is the place where all my straight friends go to hang out and to meet people."
