"Although I prefer the “Giant Skull” Vortex in Little Five Pts, this one is just as good (just, you know, minus the cool giant skull). Service is usually good (although they do get busy, so the service can be slow during a rush)- but a note: don’t be a jerk to the servers, because the Vortex has a pretty funny don’t-be-a-butthead-or-we’ll-kick-you-out policy which you can read at their website :D Overall, the Vortex has REALLY good food, including Tater Tots, yaaay! And you get a HUGE portion size- I love me some Tots, but even I can’t finish them all (I stick them in my pocket for later). Also, I’m a picky eater, and I can eat a ton of things on their menu (just something to keep in mind for picky eaters out there), but my boyfriend eats EVERYTHING and he says he’s never had a bad dish there. In conclusion, if I had to sum up the Vortex in one word, it would definitely be: YUM!!!"
