Summary of Dalton Galleries
Colleges are often regarded as centers of intellectual enlightenment, and in the case of Decaturs Agnes Scott College, the same can be said for artistic endeavors. Housed in a pleasant campus environment, the Dalton Galleries feature diverse thematic group exhibitions of contemporary works by local, national, and international artists. Special programs and exhibits are offered regularly, and are always open to the public. Ten minutes by car from downtown Atlanta, this East side cultural oasis is well worth the trip.
