"Both the beauty of the castle and the legend of its creator, King Ludwig II, make this a great spot. If you choose to hike up to the castle instead of taking the bus, you should be prepared for a steep walk that takes about 30 minutes. The guided tour was lacking in content (which is why I give this 4 out of 5 stars) but the grounds and castle are rich in beauty and history."

"This castle is nothing short of incredible. The tour is great, expect to do quite a bit of waiting around before going in though. Tour is reasonably cheap, about 9 Euro’s I think, the gift shop is where you’ll spend the bulk of your money. No matter how many castle’s you’ve been too, this one is a must-do, it’s just plain magnificent!"
