As good as the last time

This place never seems to disappoint. We ate here on Dec 23 for a late dinner and ate mostly specials. The hearts of plam with alaskan king crab and jalapeno sauce was a revelation. The old stand by yellow tail with the tiniest slice of jalepeno was as perfect as ever. Steak=great. yellowtail nigiri was amazing. About the only complaint I have is that the wine list is nowhere near as exciting as the food. Very unispired choices by the glass. Don’t get me wrong there are some amazing bottles on the list but overall, relative to the food, it isn’t going to totally wow most wine geeks.

The food is very expensive here but par for super top quality japanese spots.
