Review for food in lounge
At Coi you can either eat in the small but styish lounge area or in the main dining room. In the main you can either have the prix fixe menu with some choices for $80 or the tasting menu for about $110.
The lounge has a different, cheaper, smaller ala carte menu. INnaddition you can order anything of the prix fixe menu ala carte.
We recently ate in the lounge area. Its kind of a nice experience because you get the service, atmosphere, attention to detail that you would receive in the main dining room. The decor has a modern organic feel and is very well lit.
The food was superb. We had udon noodles with shitake mushrooms, and a roast chicken with chicories. Desert was stellar meyer lemon meringue with celery sorbet.
wine list is deep and well chosen.

This place looks really nice, Noah. I want to eat in the lounge area some day. Sounds like you really enjoyed your time there.
