"Best Hawaiian Luau I’ve been to. While there may be better ones out there, I was fully satisfied with what this one had to offer. Open bar keeps tropical drinks flowing (so designate a DD). Guests have choice of traditional seating (think sitting on pillows on the ground with low tables) or regular tables with chairs. We chose the pillows without regrets, but the tables would be best for those who may have trouble getting up. Before the unveiling of the underground oven and luau pig, guests could stroll the grounds, overlooking the ocean, and visit stations set up by local craftspeople to learn how to make leis, weave baskets from palms, etc. The unveiling of the pig was followed by a buffet of traditional Hawaiian foods and the luau performance. Traditional dances and dress made for an enjoyable evening. Catching the sunset over the ocean was an added bonus. Would highly recommend. And if perchance you won the coin toss and are not the DD, be careful of the low lava rock walls. Walking into them leaves a mark."
