South Avenue pizza pie can run a little steep. It’s not Papa John’s prices, let’s say, by a ways. But you certainly get what you pay for.

The downtown pizza scene’s got a little crowded recently (two other pizzerias within spitting distance), but this place sets itself apart with a bar next door (“The Bar Next Door”), which features live music most nights, and a weekday lunch buffet that’s a bargain and a half.
