Zorinsky Lake Park
This flood-control lake in west Omaha is one of the more popular parks in Omaha. There are covered picnic shelters around the lake, some of which can be reserved in advance for a fee. The five-mile biking/hiking trail around the lake is tree-lined in many areas and thus one of the more popular in the area. The downside: It can get crowded on weekends and evenings. If you’re looking for a place to bike or take a walk without a lot of people, this probably isn’t the spot.
