"My wife was having a baby shower for our first child. We thought, what better place to buy a cake than Pastry and More. The cake was ordered and paid for a week in advance. The total was about $70 including a $20 extra charge for the "professional" free hand artist to decorate. Upon pick up the cake was 3inches on one end and tapered down to 1.5 inches on the other end. This was supposed to be a flat sheet cake. The decorations looked like a kindergartener had slopped them on. The writing in the middle was off center and the wrong name was used. We called the store and spoke to the owner Bill, and were promised a full refund of our money back. Bill was very rude and acted put out that we were unpleased with his cake since the artist was out and he decorated it. Three weeks later after calling more than 5 times we finally recieved what we thought was our refund. Low and behold it was a gift certificate for $35. Why would we go back after this fiasco? We will never return and highly suggest that if you want a decent cake or pastry to go to Wal-Mart or Costco as they have better customer service and stand behind their products. This is the first of many bad reviews we will write until Pastry and More is closed. The owner Bill is a liar and the website says "customer service is second to none" Well Bill Second place is first loser and your service was the worst we have ever experienced from a business owner."
