Idaho Falls, which is off I-15, is a perfect jumping-off point to see the Craters of the Moon National Monument, Sun Valley, the West Grand Teton National Park, and the Snake River’s rapids. With a population of 43,929, Idaho Falls is the largest city in Idaho. It is in the heart of ranching and fertile agricultural land. Named “Eagle Rock” at the time of its inception, Idaho Falls was renamed in order to attract more settlers. Today, the city offers a wide selection of lodging and restaurants.

Idaho Falls is serviced by the Idaho Falls Municipal Airport and buses. There is airport shuttle service to Salt Lake City.
