"If you're looking for swank, go to Michigan avenue. If you're looking for value, this is the place. We've stayed here the last 4 of 5 visits. The 5 blocks to Michigan avenue is great exercise for this 61 year old man with a pacemaker and his wife. November of 06 we even had 5 rooms for the Grooms side of the family from Ohio. Everyone said it was easy to find and had no complaints. Even our parking attendant was a great "guide" to the city. We're staying here again in July when we visit our son and his wife. "

"Best Western River North is not for those who are looking for a plush or unusual hotel experience, but for those who want a clean and comfortable place to sleep in between their exciting Chicago activities, this is a good spot. It’s located in the heart of the River North entertainment district well-known for its night clubs and art galleries and is only a few blocks away from great restaurants (family and fancy), Michigan Avenue shopping, and within reach of public transportation to get to all the great Chicago Museums or sporting events."

"This hotel should be rated 1 star. The walls are thin, the key cards didn’t work, and the beds are very small with sagging mattresses. The only good thing is the free parking, but what does that matter if you can’t sleep due to the noise and the beds."
