"Not really knowing what to expect, we purchased tickets to “I love you, you’re perfect, now change”, a musical/comedy based on the relationships of man and woman. The play was great, I would recommend it to anyone who has ever been in a relationship. It is laugh out loud funny on many occasions, thoughtful and well written. The cast at the Royal George did a great job. The Royal George itself is a great place, it has a few different stages, and we were in the cabaret section that only seats maybe 100 people and has a small stage, perfect for this 4 actor show. The dress during the day is casual, and the theatre has a number of bars and snack areas. In the cabaret, you are allowed to bring your purchased refreshments into the show if you like, so you don’t have to polish off your drink during the brief intermission. The theatre is in a great Lincoln Park location, and only 2 miles or so from Michigan Avenue, but take a taxi, the area between the two can be a little spooky, sometimes feeling like a ghost town around the abandoned buildings."
