The Clipper is a retro bar dating back to the 40s. It sports a killer art deco era bar, vintage posters, and dispense stiff drinks. It appears not much has changed since the place opened in 1937. The crowd is an unpretentious and laid back sort. There are live music acts a few times each week and Bingo on Monday nights. Yes Bingo.

Ring-a-Ding-Ding

ccahoon's rating:

"I can only describe this bar as “ring-a-ding”. It’s got a fantastic retro ‘40s atmosphere, complete w/ red lights and detailed fixtures and wood work. I recommend this bar to everyone because it is so unique. Even the drink menu has gone back in time. This is the only bar I’ve ever been to where the bartender knows how to make an “egg cream”. Despite it’s vintage feel, it remains unpretentious w/ a good crowd."
