"The long, narrow set-up (complete with communal tables) means that Avec can feel especially cramped. But the fabulous food and wine is so worth the trouble. I’m still craving the medjool dates stuffed with chorizo and baked with proscuitto. The staff is also refreshingly unpretentious when it comes to wine. On a recent visit, I asked my server to just pair mid-cost wines as she saw fit, and she did a fantastic job of not only picking great glasses, but explaining each choice to me and how it paired well with my dish. Highly recommended!"
