Very trendy and very minimalist, Blackbird serves French and American cuisine to an invariably packed house. Chef Paul Kahan combines American and French elements to create an inventive and delightful take on the concept on comfort food. This is a small space, and the noise level can be a bit much sometimes, so if you’re looking for a romantic spot, keep looking. But if you want a fun night out and a delicious dinner, you’ve found the right place.

"i was on a long layover and popped in to blackbird for a lunch much much better than one in the airport. the decor is sleek, the space is small, and the food fulfilling. the concept of quality, select ingredients drives the menu. i highly recommend this place."

"the food here is sophisticated and the service very good. As with most good restaurants they start with the absolute best in ingrediants. Food is in the modern light French style. Modern white decor. My favortie dish was Seared Nantucket Bay scallops with buckwheat noodles, salsify, heirloom apples, and black truffles."
