Quench your thirst for international flavor in Chicago’s Lincoln Park at the sangria-soaked Café Ba-Ba-Reeba. The fruity Spanish drink flows in seven flavors — red, white, peach, black raspberry, passion fruit, cava and red frozen — and the tapas include chicken, beef, seafood, pork and vegetarian varieties. If tapas aren’t your thing, the menu offers other classic Spanish dishes such as paella and calderos, a traditional peasant dish. Brightly colored walls surround dark-wood tables filled with a younger crowd that provides an energetic hum of talk. If you don’t fill up on too much sangria and fresh bread before the meal, be ready to order at least a couple tapas per person; most are served on kabob-style wooden skewers, and the portions are small.
