Goodnow Mountain
Trail to the top for fantastic views
This trail up the Adirondacks’ Goodnow Mountain is not too hard. There are a few steeper portions on this trail, just under 2 miles long to the top. Fantastic views of the surrounding nature wonderland. Firetower on the top is a little scary. If you are squeemish about heights, skip the firetower. It feels as though it is moving as you get closer and closer to the top. Take your time on the way down to make sure you keep your footing.
