"I travel the midwest for business and always stop at the Big Steer when in the Des Moines area. Food is unbelievably great at reasonable prices. I live in the Chicago area and if we had steaks this good they would be $50.00 I guess we do and it's called Morton's. Oh yes and your bill at Morton's would be about $75.00 each. (without drink) The atmosphere at Big Steer could best be described as '80s revisited, but you don't go for the atmosphere, you go for the consistantly nice staff, great food, and great value. You will not be disappointed."

"BLUE CHEESE DRESSING TO DIE FOR.!!! BRANDY ALEXANDERS LIKE NO OTHER.!!! SERVICE WAS EXCELLANT. FOOD WAS PIPING HOT. WAITING TIME WAS MOST ACCEPTABLE GIVIN DAY AND TIME (SAT NITE). ONLY WISH I COULD HAVE THAT DRESSING SHIPT TO ME. A DEFINITE WILL GO AGAIN WHEN IN THE AREA."
