Il Girasole is a quiet hotel surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, with views to the blue Mediterranean sea. It is only 300 meters from the bus station, 500 meters from Anacapri center and two kilometers to the beach. The 23 rooms are simply decorated and well equipped with one double or two twin beds, air conditioning, TV, direct dial phones, minibars and in room safes.
Although the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, breakfast is served daily, and lunch is available, prepared by the owners with local and home grown produce. Guests can enjoy lovely sea views from the swimming pool and poolside snack bar, and take advantage of babysitting, massage and hairdressing services, or surf the Internet in the hotel reception. Scuba courses, boat reservations and island tours can also be arranged. From the hotel guests can easily access the island on foot and Anacapri center is just a five minute walk down a pine and juniper scented country road. For unforgettable panoramic views, visitors can take a chairlift up Monte Solano and look out over the island to the gulf of Naples and beyond to the Calabre mountains. The nearest airport is Naples.
