The Hotel Palazzo del Corso is a fully restored, early 19th century building with original features, 100 metres from the centre of the town of Gallipoli. Its seven air conditioned guestrooms, over two floors, feature classical decor with patterned fabrics, and period features and furniture. All offer balconies, satellite television, CD players, direct dial telephones, high speed Internet access, minibars, safes and complimentary newspapers.
Guests can relax on the furnished terrace of the hotel’s roof garden, offering panoramic views over Gallipoli harbour, which also features hydromassage and an aromatherapy pool. Additionally, within the hotel, there is a gym, a solarium, an ornate tearoom, a bar, a library and a conference room with seating for up to 70. The hotel operates a complimentary transfer service to a nearby private beach, from where guests can take a yacht tour of the Costa Salentina, try jet skiing, or motor boating, and ride in a ‘gozzo’ the characteristic sailing crafts of Gallipoli. There is a shuttle service that runs between the airport and the hotel, and visitors arriving by car can use the free parking garage. The hotel is located in the centre of Gallipoli and is excellently situated for exploring the area; the small seaside town of Santa Maria di Leuca is 33 kilometres from the hotel, and the town of Lecce is 36 kilometres away, and offers sightseers many attractions, including a cathedral designed by renowned architect Giuseppe Zimbalo. Brindisi Casale Airport is 69 kilometres from the hotel, a 40 minute drive.
